HUMAN TROUBLES

a one-act stage play presented by Streetcar Collective for the Arts. buy tickets now >>

December 28th – 29th, 2024 + January 2nd – 5th, 2025
at the New Marigny Theatre.

What happens when Dora’s life goes wrong, she finds herself in a psych ward, and then — somehow — her life gets much, much worse? Human Troubles is an uncomfortably hilarious dark comedy about five people grappling with a Kafkaesque healthcare system while dealing with the hell that is other people.

Described as “being like One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest if it passed the Bechdel Test”, Human Troubles is an ensemble comedy you won’t be able to forget any time soon.

Presented by Streetcar Collective for the Arts, this is the theater you NEED to see after Christmas 2024. This is your invitation to come see Human Troubles and find out what happens once you realize rock bottom is only halfway down.
